Obituary for Patricia Ann Brown
Patricia Ann Brown (“Pat”), 70, of Brandon, Florida joined our Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 15, 2019 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Pat endured a 7+ year battle with breast cancer but chose to carry herself through the battle with dignity, grace and God by her side. Born on February 22, 1949 in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Pat married her adoring husband, Crispen Hodges Brown “Cris” on July 7, 1967 and became a proud mother to Timothy Brown in September 1968 while living in Fayetteville, North Carolina. She worked numerous jobs after moving to Fort Walton Beach, FL then later as a civil servant employee for 31 years at MacDill Airforce Base, Tampa Florida, retiring in 2013 as a Financial Analyst. Pat was a Christian woman of God and a faithful member of Brandon’s New Hope Methodist Church since 1982. Pat enjoyed being part of the Women’s Group at New Hope, working in her flower garden, traveling with family, and was an avid Tampa Bay Rays fan. Mimi Pat adored her grandchildren, Tristan and Taylor and experiencing life through their eyes. Pat was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Frances Perdue. Pat is survived by her devoted husband of 52+ years, Cris Brown; son Timothy Brown (Paula); sister Pamela Hutchinson (James); grandson Tristan Brown; granddaughter Taylor Brown; many family members and friends. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 19, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. Located at the New Hope Methodist Church, 213 N. Knights Ave., Brandon, Florida 33510. In Lieu of Flowers, Donations can be sent to the church or Florida Cancer Center in her memory.
