Obituary for Audrey Lynne Bergsten
BERGSTEN, Audrey Lynne “Gumm” 75, of Brandon, FL entered heaven May 17, 2019. She is survived by her daughters, Elke Bergsten and Darby (Jesse) Herald; grandchildren, Hollis and Leighton Herald; brother, Roger (Hilda) Ryan; sister, Carmen (Errol) Poulson; nephews, Kolby (Jennifer) Ryan and Jared Poulson; niece, Jennifer Poulson Brookes. Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, James Paul and Emily Ryan and husband, Ron Bergsten. Audrey, also known as “Gumm,” by all that loved her, was born December 21, 1943 in North Platte, NE. She graduated from St. Catherine’s School of Nursing where she earned her degree as a 33594 Registered Nurse. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Funding at jdrf.org. Services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2019, 5 pm, at Lifepath Hospice at Sun City, 3725 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, FL 33573. Following the service the family will be hosting a celebration of life at Keith’s Oaks Bar and Grill, 108 Lithia Pinecrest Rd., Brandon, FL 33511, at 7 pm. Gumm was a kind, compassionate, and loving woman who always put others before herself. She will be missed by all.
