Obituary for James Jesse Pope, Sr.

James J. Pope Sr., 90, of Seffner, FL, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018, with his loving family at his side. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann; son, James (Sherry); granddaughter, Deana and husband Michael and their five children, Patricia Marie, Michaela Ann, Lora Elisabeth, Riley James and Gracee Amanda Deanice. He also has two additional great-grandson’s Jayden and Jackson Pope that are the children of his only grandson, James Wesley Pope, that predeceased him in October 2010. James was a US Army veteran and POW of the Korean War, where he earned several medals, including the Purple Heart. He grew up in the Tampa Bay Area and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
