Obituary for David Glynn Smith
SMITH, DAVID "GLYNN" 60 of Riverview, Florida passed away April 15, 2018, in Brandon, Florida. He was born July 10, 1957, in Louisburg, North Carolina to David T. Smith and Peggy Griffin Bader. Glynn had a passion for golf, the beach, playing chess with his brother Alan, as well as watching Star Wars for hours on end. He was employed with the Canariis Corporation and previously employed for the Linear Corporation as an electrician. He is survived by his mother, Peggy Griffin Bader (Paul), and father, David T. Smith; brother, Phillip "Alan" Smith (Wendelyn); nephew Robert Smith (Mary); nieces Courtney Helmuth (Travis) and Laura Lyle (Landry), and great-nephew Logan Smith. A Celebration of Glynn’s life will be conducted on Sunday, April 29th at 2 pm at Southern Funeral Care in Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services, with Pastor Jerry Hancock officiating.
