Jeff Dampier, 78, of Brandon, FL, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023. A native of Clarksdale, MS, he had resided in the Tampa Bay area for nineteen years coming from Chicago, IL. Jeff was a devoted Christian and he loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clarence and Tommie Lee Dampier; son, Jeffrey Dampier; daughter, Connie Davenport and grandchildren, DeAndre Dampier and Tosha Davenport. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Dampier of Brandon, FL; sons, Artie Dampier of Country Club Hills, IL; Lemaine Dampier of Aurora, IL and Cartrell Dampier of Brandon, FL; daughters, Patricia Davenport of Thonotosassa, FL and Shenice Dampier of Valrico, FL; brothers, Hershey Dampier of Farrell, MS and M.C. Dampier of Clarksdale, MS; sister, Janice Davis of Clarksdale, MS; twenty-three grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Jeff will be held at Southern Funeral Care on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 12 PM with family receiving friends one hour prior.
