Carolyn Ann Pope, 81, of Riverview, FL, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023. A native of Anniston, AL, she has resided in the Tampa Bay area since 1965. She is survived by her life partner of 30 years, Floyd Barnett ; daughters, Vickie Hamm , Debbie Gabino , Michelle Pope, Tammy Pope Miller , and Cindy Lawler and one son; Frankie Pope. She was a proud maw maw to her 10 grandkids, Charles Weber, Tonya Anders, Valerie Gosa , Ashley Moore, Kenneth Miller , Sean Miller, Justin Gabino, Nathan Lawler, Julian Aponte, and Taylor Lawler along with her 16 great grandbabies. Carolyn was also a devoted sister to Sandra Weyerman, Claudean Lindsey, and Pamela Pizano and a loving aunt to Mikey Pritchard. She was also dedicated to many lifelong friends she met along the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Gladys Lindsey, son, Danny Pope ; daughter, Cathy Arnett and sister, Margaret Doss. Services will be held at Southern Funeral Care on Friday, September 22, 2023, at 11 AM with family receiving friends one hour prior to services. A graveside service will follow at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to ECHO of Riverview.
