He was preceded in death by his son, Nick George Jr. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; 3 sons; 1 daughter; 7 step-sons; 1 step-daughter; 2 brothers; and 1 sister. A funeral mass will be conducted at Saint Stephen Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. with the family receiving friends one hour prior. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
