Maryke "Mary" Gerritse
GERRITSE, Maryke (Mary), 69, Apollo Beach, FL passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015. A lung cancer survivor, she passed away peacefully of an unrelated illness. Born in The Hague, The Netherlands, she married her husband Jack, of 51 years, and immigrated to Freehold, NJ in 1965. She later resided in Hamilton square with her husband, mother and two children. She and her husband operated Fritz Meat Market in Trenton and in the Trenton Farmers Market from 1972 until 1986. In 1985 they started J.G. Construction which they ran until their retirement to Florida in 2004. Mary also graduated from nursing and also worked as a nurse's aide. She enjoyed travel, cruises, camping, crafts and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Jack; son, Herman; daughter, Margaret Gerritse-Newsham; brother, Herman vanNelfen and 3 grandchildren, Ryan Newsham, Steven and Shawn Gerritse.
