SHORES, Carol, 70, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013. A lifelong Floridian, Carol was born in Tampa and grew up in Ybor City. Carol developed a love for animals and her mission was to rescue them and find them a loving home. Carol retired from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. She is survived by her children, Vicki and Robert and 4 grandchildren.

Services will take place 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services.
