ANTHONY, Lt. Col. Herbert L., U.S. Army, retired, 83, of Riverview, Fla., passed away Saturday, March 31, 2007. A native of New Berlin, N.Y., he resided in Riverview, Fla., for the past 28 years. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for 22 years as an artillery officer. He was a member of the American Legion and Lions Club. He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred; son, Craig. Survivors include his wife, Emma; son Dean; daughter, Gail Lord (George); brother, Virgil; grandchildren, Colin, Jeffery, Elisabeth; nieces, Linda, Mondore, Doreen Neer, and Sandra Perkins; stepdaughter, Brenda Delmonache (Bob); step-son, Michael Polson (Lucy); stepgrandchildren, Blaise, Rob, Gina, Mikey and Amanda. Graveside services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 1, 2007, at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park.
