Myhre, Elsie R., 90, of Tampa, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Peggy Fidler (Steven); sons, Steven and John Jay Myhre; granddaughters, Ashley Mouradian (Greg), Sarah and Anna Myhre; and sisters, Gladys Gay and Lorraine Griffis. A native of South Dakota, Elsie was active in the Cadet Nurse Corps from 1945-48 in St. Paul, MN, where she became an RN. Friends will be received on Monday, December 18th at New Hope United Methodist Church, 121 N. Knights Ave, Brandon, FL from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with services starting at 11:00. There will be a brief ceremony at 2:00 p.m. at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL, where she will be laid to rest with her late husband of 63 years, Jack Myhre, who preceded her in death in 2013. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Florida United Methodist Childrens Home in Enterprise, FL.( fumchlegcy.org)

Friends will be received on Monday, December 18th at New Hope United Methodist Church, 121 N. Knights Ave, Brandon, FL from 10:00-11:00 a.m. with services starting at 11:00. There will be a brief ceremony at 2:00 p.m. at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL, where she will be laid to rest with her late husband of 63 years, Jack Myhre, who preceded her in death in 2013.
