KENNEDY, Nancy L. Vest Kennedy, 76, an amazing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went home to heaven to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 27, 2012. She graduated from South High School, Columbus, Ohio in 1954, and spent her life devoted to and caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her son, Brian, parents, Lloyd and Clara (Barberie) Vest, siblings, Maxine, George, Philip, Phyllis, Shirley and Donna, nieces, Jill and Sherrie and nephew Tim. She will be greatly missed by her children, Bill and wife DeAnn, Barb and husband Tom, grandchildren, Bronson, Susan, Miranda, Joshua, Bradley, Jesse, Austin and Tori, and eight great grandchildren with a new little one on the way. She will also be missed by sisters-in-law Arlene and Wilda, as well as many nieces and nephews in the large, close-knit Vest Family. She leaves behind life-long friends Shirley and Eleanor, her church and bridge friends and many other people whose lives are forever touched by her kindness, generosity and outspoken fun nature. Her family would like to thank all her doctors and nurses at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City, especially Dr. Gutowski and Elsey, for their kindness and compassion and going above and beyond!
Funeral Information
A celebration of her life will be held in the Bell Shoals Baptist Church Chapel, 2102 Bell Shoals Road, Brandon, FL 33511, on Saturday, October 20, at 2:00 p.m. officiated by close Ohio family friend, Pastor Dwight Bennett.
