MARTIN, John Francis, 87, of Sun City Center, FL, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2009. A native of New York City, NY, he had resided here for one year coming from New Hyde Park, NY. He was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, New Hyde Park, NY and attended Nativity Catholic Church, Brandon, FL. He was a US Navy WW II veteran, an usher and volunteer at Nativity Catholic Church and Nativity Food Pantry, volunteered with ABC Quilts. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Christine Martin, Centereach, NY; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Gary Bancroft, Riverview, FL; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Green Team from LifePath Hospice.
