The beloved wife of Robert M. Evans, who predeceased her on October 5, 1981 and the beloved mother of William E. Evans, who predeceased her on October 17, 1965. Wonderful mother-in-law to Ruth Evans, Bill Small and Steve Lewis. Loving grandmother of Bill, Michelle, Bonnie, Todd, Shannon, Sarah and Jill. Loving great-grandmother to nine. Vera worked for Western Union until she met and married Robert Evans. Vera raised her family in Titusville, FL, where her husband was a contractor and built many homes in the community. Vera relocated to Sun City Center, FL in 1991 and led an active life there, becoming trained to work as a volunteer for the emergency squad, working for the American Cancer Society for several years and becoming active in her beloved church, Bell Shoals Baptist Church, Brandon. When she retired from the emergency squad, she began to work for Meals on Wheels, staying active and helping others.
