KLEISER, Nell Elizabeth, 97, of Brandon, went to be with the lord on February 24, 2009. She was born in Oklahoma City on July 17, 1911. She was raised in Nashville. After marrying Emil Henry Kleiser, they moved to Tampa, Fl. She was a long time member of Hyde Park Presbyterian Church and a faithful member of "Ernest Workers" Sunday school class. She was employed by the US Government, working for many years in the Clerk's office, before retiring in the early 70's. She was Past Grand Chief of the Pythian Sisters as well as a 50 year member of the Eastern Star. After moving to Brandon, she became a member of the First Baptist Church of Brandon and served on the "Counting" Committee well past her 95th birthday. Dedication to the Lord was always foremost in her life. She was predeceased by her husband and parents. Survivors include her daughter, Diane Kleiser Searcy (Perry); grandchildren, Kimberly Searcy Bryant (Danny), Michael Searcy (Teresa Searcy); great-grandchildren, Lauren Bryant and Julianne Bryant. Nell is with the Lord and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She loved the Lord, her family and the Church. She was a wonderful mother and "Big Grandma".
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2009, with the family receiving friends 1 hour prior to the service at the First Baptist Church of Brandon. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa, Fl.
