Kingsley Joseph Bell
BELL, Kingsley, 74, of Stone Henge, Jamaica and Valrico, Florida, passed away in the early morning of Tuesday, June 10, 2008. Kingsley became a member of the Bell Shoals Baptist Church family in 1997. He was an avid reader, golfer and above all, he was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. In 1961, he earned the distinction from the Royal Society of Health of the United Kingdom as an Associate and was employed as a public health inspector from 1961 to 1969 by the Central Government of Jamaica. In 1969, Kingsley migrated to New York City where he worked for 17 years for Purolator Courier/Emery as an Operational Supervisor. He also worked for the New York City Health Department, where he retired as a health associate. In addition, Kingsley also operated an exterminating business that still continues to be operated by his son. Kingsley is survived by his wife of over 53 years, Ruby; his sons, Robert of New York and Patrick (Carol) of Gaithersburg, Maryland; his grandchildren, Robert, Jr., Julian, David and Jonathan; his sisters, brothers and a host of other family, colleagues and friends.
Funeral Information
A celebration of Kingsley's life will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 21, 2008, at Bell Shoals Baptist Church, Brandon, Florida. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. at the church. Interment will follow at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, Riverview, Florida.
