LANE, Dorothy Jean, 81, of Valrico, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2013. A native of Winchester, TN, she had resided here most of her lifetime. She was a custodian for the Hillsborough County School System and a member of the First Baptist Church of Bloomingdale, Valrico, FL. She is survived by her husband, Jerry R. Lane; sons, Donald Ray Fagg, Valrico, FL, Earl (Angela) Fagg, Riverview, FL, Arnold (Karen) Fagg, Valrico, FL and Rob (Krista) Brameister, Bradenton, FL; daughters, Sandra (Joel) Lopez, Ruskin, FL and Debra (David) Ware, Plant City, FL; brothers, James Horne, Brandon, FL and Paul and Eugene Horne, both of Plant City, FL; sisters, Margie Craven, Charleston, SC, Catherine Rouse, Valrico, FL and Emma Zeigler, Plant City, FL; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Sun City Center Hospice House.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Bloomingdale, 3303 Bloomingdale Ave., Valrico, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Bloomingdale Cemetery.
