Carl David Holland, Sr.
HOLLAND, Sr., Carl David, 86, of Riverview went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Born on Bloomingdale Avenue in Riverview on March 5, 1925, he served in the US Army during World War II and worked 34 years for Lykes Brothers before retiring. He was a Christian and a faithful member of Providence Baptist Church for 55 years. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Estelle; five children, Carl, Jr., Charles, Richard, Bruce and Denise Holland, all of Riverview; 2 sisters, Jeanette Gordon, Land O'Lakes, FL and Nora Toney, Erwin, TN; 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 2, 2011, at Providence Baptist Church with the family receiving friends one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery.
