GEFRE, Marilyn E., 83, of Riverview, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015. A native of Aberdeen, SD, she had resided here since 1972 coming from California. She received an Associate's Degree in Business from Notre Dame Junior College, Mitchell, SD in 1951. She retired, in June 1994, from Wachovia Bank as Executive Secretary to the Bank President. She was a member of Nativity Catholic Church since 1972, St. Anthony's Circle, Catholic Order of Foresters, volunteered with Meals on Wheels and Novemberfest, Brandon Duplicate Bridge Club, former Girl Scout leader and choir director. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Edward James Gefre; son, Jim Gefre; daughters, June Eastman and Mary Jo Seaholm; brother, Roger Kessler; sisters, Jean Russell and Linda Gerston and grandchildren, Brad Eastman, Brandi Paine and Kristin Gefre. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at Nativity Catholic Church, family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to Mass. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Nativity Catholic Church Food Pantry or Metropolitan Ministries, Tampa.
