Obituary for Marcella Phonteyn Steele
Marcella Phonteyn Steele, 68, of Brandon, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022. A native of Philadelphia, PA, she had resided here since 2010 coming from Brooklyn, NY. She was a member of the Brandon D.A.V. Auxiliary and Mt. Calvary United Holy Church (Brooklyn, NY), Crossover Baptist Church (Brooklyn, NY) and Mt. Olive AME Church (Tampa, FL). She is survived by her husband, Forn M. Steele; sons, Tommie Eaddy and Kwame Steele; daughters, Tiffany Kelly, Tressa Eaddy and Tamia Steele Howze; brother, Rodney Jackson; sister, Michele Jackson; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Southern Funeral Care, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services.
