Gene Levi Hink, 91, of Brandon, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. A native of Morristown, New Jersey, he had resided here since 1965 coming from Charleston, S.C. and was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Brandon, FL. He is survived by his wife Mary Hink, Brandon; Son, Darrell (Diane) Hink, Plant City; Grandson, Matthew Hink, Seattle, WA; Granddaughter, Emily Hink, Plant City; Daughter, Toni (Daniel) Parrish, Riverview, FL; Step-Grandson, Scott (Jessica) Parrish, Duluth, GA; Step-Great-Grandchildren, Colton, Catelyn and Chase Parrish, Duluth, GA; Step-Granddaughter, Monica (John) Klipfell, Cleveland, OH; Step-Great-Grandchildren, Brandon, Olivia and Silas, Cleveland, OH; Step-Granddaughter, Amanda (Bill) Thomas, Bradenton, FL and six nieces.Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, November 5, 2021, at Southern Funeral Care, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Harleyville, S.C. In lieu of flowers, please make donations, to the United Methodist Women, Florida United Methodist Children's Home, E.C.H.O. or New Horizon House.
