Obituary for Robert Jackson Wilson, Jr.
Robert “Jack” Jackson Wilson, Jr., 58, of Riverview, Florida passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. After a long and courageous battle against cancer, Jack died peacefully with his family by his side. He was born in San Mateo, California on February 14, 1963, to Robert J. Wilson, Sr. and Patricia Clinker. Jack grew up in Land ‘O Lakes. Spending time with family and friends sharing stories and reminiscing was Jack’s passion. He loved the simple things in life: the outdoors, rainy days, bon fires, watching the food channel, and enjoying time with Rusty, the family dog. Jack was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jackson Wilson, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Preston; stepmother, Lynda Wilson; brother, John Wilson (Deborah); nieces, Rebekah and Rachael; sisters, Cynthia Lucciola (Alan) and Pamela Metko; stepbrothers, Johnny Lloyd and Daniel (Dianna) Lloyd; nephews and nieces and many more supportive family and friends. Thank you to all who reached out to Jack, he cherished your words of encouragement. There will not be a formal service, however, Jack would like for his friends and family to reminisce about the good times and cherish precious time with family and friends.
