Obituary for Imogene (Mo) Holub
Imogene (Mo) Holub, 94, passed on to her Heavenly Home on 9/20/2021. Mo was the wife of Alois (Al) Holub, for 53 years until his passing in 2013. She is survived by her stepdaughter, Lisa Holub Brown (Terry), 4 grandchildren, Amanda Brown, Bethany Focht (Kevin), Alisha Dietzman (Harrison) and Nathanael Brown (Raquel), and 1 great granddaughter, Aurora. She is also survived by one sister, Clara Vann Wansley and one brother, Thomas W. Vann, Sr, and predeceased by her parents, Mr and Mrs Charlie B Vann, Sr., four brothers, Charlie Vann, Jr, Harley Vann, Lawrence Vann and Durward Vann, along with two sisters, Estelle Vann Pace and Eunita Vann Cashmore. Mo has many nieces, nephews and friends who she loved dearly. Mo was a devoted Christian and a member of Temple Terrace United Methodist Church. She was a native Floridian, born in Durant, FL, a graduate of Turkey Creek High School and was very proud to be a graduate of Florida State University. Mo loved children and was a school teacher for many years. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11 AM Monday, September 27, 2021 at Temple Terrace UMC with the family receiving friends from 10 to 11 AM officiated by Mo’s nephew, Pastor Thomas W.
