Obituary for James Doyle Barrington
James "Doyle" Barrington, 90, of Brandon, FL, born July 24, 1930, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 18, 202. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 69 years, Betty Ann; his son, James "Jim" Barrington, Jr. and daughter, Debra Barrington Jarosz and is survived by his daughters, Vickie Barrington, Becki Barrington and Barbi Provenzano (Dominic); his grandchildren, Jack Jarosz; Christian Barrington; Joshua and Sarah Barrington; and Isabel, Gaby and Frankie Provenzano. Doyle moved to Brandon at age 2 from Haines City. He attended the Brandon School from 1st grade until 11th and would have graduated with the Brandon High School class of 1947 had he not withdrawn to enlist in the US Navy. After serving his country he would return home to Brandon. Where he focused on creating a quiet life for his family and building a food manufacturing company that he would ultimately name after his wife, "Betty Ann Foods". Upon retirement, Doyle and Betty Ann would spend their time between Brandon and Maggie Valley, NC. He was loved and respected by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 25, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Bloomingdale. A private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
