Obituary for John Thurman "Jack" Davidson, Jr.
John Thurman “Jack” Davidson, Jr., 79, of Valrico, FL, peacefully went to be with his Lord Sunday, July 19, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and a sister. He was born in Tampa, FL, a Veteran of the US Air Force who loved his country and was a true patriot. He took pride in his work as a boilermaker and enjoyed working on large ships. He had a love for singing, fishing, woodworking, watching old time war movies, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Eileen Davidson; daughter, Doreen Weinberger (James); son, Michael Davidson; daughter, Heather Mundt; sister, Glenda (Danny) Scott, as well as 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Memorial services, with Military honors, will be held 10:30 A.M., Friday, July 31. 2020, at The Chapel at FishHawk, 6026 Churchside Dr., Lithia, FL 33547, with the family receiving friend’s a half hour prior to services. Inurnment will follow at 2:30 P.M. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
