William T. "Bill" Sherman, Jr.
SHERMAN, Jr., William T. "Bill", 63, of Valrico, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2008. Bill resided in the Tampa Bay area most of his lifetime, was a U.S.A.F. Viet Nam veteran, received the Air Force Commendation Medal, graduated with a Bachelors degree from the U. S. F., retired from Peninsular Paper and was a member of the American Legion Post 147 and the All Saints Lutheran Church, Lutz. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Maureen; son, William "Skip" Sherman, III, Kissimmee; daughter, Laura Widerberg, Dover; sons-in-law, Richard Mergo and Bo Widerberg; mother, Virginia Sherman, Ft. Pierce, FL; 2 sisters, Candace (David) Fender, Ft. Pierce, FL and Tyna (Jack) Westman, Largo; brothers-in-law, George (Jan) Ellsworth, Arthur (Becky) Ellsworth, Douglas Ellsworth and Jonathan Ellsworth; 3 grandchildren, Samuel Sherman, Aidan and Ella Widerberg and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Information
Memorial services will be conducted 2:30 P.M. Saturday, November 22, 2008, at All Saints Lutheran Church, 5315 Van Dyke Rd., Lutz, FL 33558, with a reception to follow.
