MEARS, Jr., William Richard, 77, of Riverview, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, he had resided here since 2001 coming from Salisbury, MD. A member of Trinity Church of Wesley Chapel, he was a member of Centennial Masonic Lodge # 221, F. & A.M., Salisbury, MD, former member of B.P.O. Elks Lodge # 2731, Zephyrhills, FL, enjoyed Golfing, Woodworking, Going to the Movies (loved a good action film) and was a retired Master Chief, Machinist Mate and Vietnam War Veteran with the US Navy. He is survived by his wife, Catherine; daughters, Pamela (Jay) Kent, Nora (David) Judd, Jessica (Tyler) Weidley, Candice (Michael) Lambrose and Jennifer (Jay) Carmine; sister, Ida Mae Shelpman; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Drive, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services.
