William Louis "Bill" Cummins
CUMMINS, William (Bill) "Papa", 82, of Riverview, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009. A native of Tampa, he attended Jefferson High School. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired from the City of Tampa Water Department after 26 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rollin and Thelma Cummins; brothers, Walter and Eugene Cummins and sister Edna Pennington Ricks. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jean; son, Russell Anderson, Idaho Falls, Id; daughters, Judy Johnson, Tampa, Patricia (Steve) Pitts, Arvada, Co and Sarah Rouleau, Lakeland and grandchildren, Kevin Stone, Danielle Rouleau, Cheryl Anderson, Mathew and Desiree Pitts. He was "Uncle Bill" or "Papa" to many family, friends and colleagues. A celebration of his Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Dr., Riverview.
