Obituary for William Kennedy Brooks
William (Billy) Kennedy Brooks, 73, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at his home in Riverview. Billy was born October 4, 1949, in Manchester, NH, and moved to Riverview in 1957. Billy graduated from East Bay High School in 1967. He enlisted in the U.S Army in 1968. He was a medic in Vietnam from 1968-1971. He returned to Riverview and was a general contractor until 2006. At his request, there will be no service, no obit, and no drama. A special thanks to the entire Tampa VA medical center; and a special thanks to Dr. Maria Bezzini of Tampa VA medical center hematology/oncology, whose compassionate care and dedication assisted Billy greatly, from the initial diagnosis in 2006 to the very end. He is survived by his loving family.
