She is survived by her daughters, Gloria (Michael) Brown, Sheryl Landry(James Shrader); sisters, Lolita (Carlston) Singletary, and Kathleen (Charles) Whaley; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. A Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Southern Funeral Care; the Interment will follow at Lake Dale Baptist Church Cemetery in Wauchula, FL at 1:30 p.m. The family will be receiving friends the night before from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifePath Hospice, 12470 Telecom Drive, Suite 300, Temple Terrace, Fl 33637.
