W. Diehl Evans
EVANS, W. Diehl, 89, of Valrico, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. A native and life-long resident of the Tampa area, he retired from GTE. He was a US Navy veteran, former member of Kiwanis Club of Greater Brandon, a member and Elder Emeritus at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Brandon and had a passion for history and research and had written books on Florida history. He and his wife owned Angell Estate Sales and Appraisal Services, Inc. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann; son, Jeff Evans; daughters, Sue Hunziker and Laurie Schugel; step-son, Palmer Angell and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral Information
A Celebration of his life will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, July 27, 2015, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 402 E. Lumsden Road, Brandon, FL 33511.
