MEEK, Virginia M., 89, of Sun City Center, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016. A native of Portage, OH, she had resided here since 1975 coming from Wayne, OH. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard and son, Darrell and is survived by her sons, Douglas, Dennis and Duane Meek; daughter, Debra Thaxton; sister, Elnore Creps; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Dr., Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services.
