CRENSHAW, Virginia Anderson was born on May 10, 1926 in Dayton, Ohio. She was the daughter of Forest T. Anderson and Nida Shoecraft Anderson. She married Roy W. Crenshaw in 1944 and they raised four children. The couple moved to Newark, Ohio where she was employed at the local Planned Parenthood. They also lived in Japan, South Korea and the Philippines before retiring in Brandon, Florida. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Brandon and helped to found its Stephen Ministry. She enjoyed traveling, her church activities and entertaining her family and many friends. She passed on March 13, 2017 in Brandon following a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five siblings, several nieces and nephews and one granddaughter. She was the loving mother of Loretta Henry (Charles), Rosalyn Dill (Louis), Delores Thompson (Stanley) and Roy William Crenshaw (Deborah); Her 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren will miss her. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and a host of friends to mourn her passing. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church located at 121 Carver Avenue in Brandon, Florida. The service will begin at 1:00PM and will be followed by a reception at the church.
