Vera Landers Exum
EXUM, Vera Landers, 79, of Riverview, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2010. A native of Riverview, she became a real estate agent in 1968, purchasing an agency in Riverview in 1973 and changing the name to Exum Realty in 1978 and was also a toll collector for 12 years with the Crosstown Expressway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Harwood Exum, Jr. and her three sons, Buddy, Lane and Timothy Exum and is survived by her brother, Fred (Duane) Landers, Jr. and sister, Freida (John) Hester-Bates, both of Riverview; seven grandchildren, Ehrika Hancock, Crystal Holloway, Donnie Ward, Ryan, Jason, Jessica and Megan Exum and eight great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank LifePath Hospice Green Team and her caregivers for their continued love and support.
Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Southern Funeral Care, 10510 Riverview Dr., Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Hackney Cemetery, Riverview.
