Obituary for Valerie Diane Sherman
SHERMAN, Valerie D., 69, of Tampa passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021. A Native of South Haven, MI and resided in the Tampa area for the past 50 years. She is survived by her children, Colleen Schaeffer. Catina Sherman, Shawn Sherman, and Michael Sherman; brother, Harold Decker; sister, Kelly Decker; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was a kind hearted person who loved animals and a very giving person who loved animals and would be there in your time of need. She was an avid reader of the Bible and loved sewing and cooking. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 11 am on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Gibsonton. Flowers are welcome church will be opened for flowers by 730 am. Donations also may be made to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
