LONG, Troy E., 74, of Lithia, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 19, 2010 while surrounded by his loving family. Survivors include his wife, Leota Long of Lithia; son, Herbert (Linda) Long of New Smyrna Beach; daughters, Marja (Billy) Philpott, and Marla Andrews both of Gibsonton; brother, Irby (Velma) Long of Brandon, sister, Juanita Smith of Bonifay; many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews that loved him very much. He retired from Publix Supermarket, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Riverview. Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2010 with the family receiving friends 2 hours prior at Southern Funeral Care, Riverview. Interment will follow on Friday, July 23, 2010 in Edgewater, Fl. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lifepath Hospice, 12973 N. Telecom Parkway, Suite 100, Temple Terrace,FL 33637.
