Obituary for Thomas Robert Wisher
Thomas Robert (Bob, Bobby) Wisher passed away February 7, 2022, at 89. An extraordinary man who lived an extraordinary life. Thomas Robert Wisher was born August 9, 1932, to Ruth V. Wisher (Hirtzel) and Thomas O. Wisher in Kissimmee Fl. He was a native Floridan and resided in Tampa Fl for all of his life. He attended Hillsborough High School and joined the Army shortly after graduation. After his service he began his career with Mosaic, better known as Gardinier and, married the love of his life, started his family and eventually retired after 30 plus years. Of all life's pleasures, Bob treasured his time with family and in his garden. He was a generous man both in sharing his crops and his heart with friends, family and anyone he met. He also loved to fish and spend time in their cabin in the Smokey Mountains. He was the beloved husband of Eva Claire Wisher (VanLandingham) for 59 years. Loving father of Greg Wisher (Denise) and Marsha Kay Falkenburg (Ricky) . Brother of the late Dorothy Wisher, Doris Wisher, Charles Wisher and Lorraine May. Also survived by his brother, Richard Wisher, sister-in-law, June Ann Guillot Wisher and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Southern Funeral Care, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Limona Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Florida United Methodist Children's Home.
