TOTARO, Thomas R.
TOTARO, Thomas R., 53, of Riverview, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2007. His dream came true after retirement by moving to his paradise in Florida. A native of Buffalo, N.Y., he had resided here since January, 2007 coming from Medina, N.Y. He was a transportation officer for the New York State Dept. of Corrections for 25 years and was involved in many activities in the community, such as, Loyal Football, NOFA, security for the Special Olympics at Brockport State College and the Medina SEPTA Track and Field. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marguerite Totaro and brother, Richard Totaro and is survived by his wife, Sue Ann; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Kate Totaro, Mt. Holly Springs, PA; daughter, Tracy Totaro, LeRoy, NY; father, Vincent Totaro, N.Y.; brothers, Bobby of Oregon, Ronnie of PA and Jimmy of N.Y.; sisters, Joan Fitzgerald, N.J. and Judy Dorr of OH.
Funeral Information
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, February 7, 2007, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Southern Funeral Care, Riverview. Memorial services will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Sunday, February 18, 2007, at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W Center St., Medina, NY 14103, (585) 798-4131, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
