Thomas Jordan Hewitt, Jr., 77, of Tampa, FL, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. Thomas was born on August 22, 1946, in Washington D.C. and spent his early childhood in Norfolk, Va. He resided in Tampa Bay after moving to the area with his family. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Methodist. Thomas was a Real Estate Broker in the Tampa area for over 40 years and built a network of friends that have stayed by his side throughout his life. Thomas loved history, playing tennis, traveling, and watching basketball and football. His family would like to thank Carol Fernandez, Cathy Plaster, Elaine O’Brien, Tom & Debbie Ressler, Dr. Santiago Hoyos, & Lee Maute, along with his many other friends for their support. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Hewitt and two twin grandchildren, Justin Hewitt and Jordan Hewitt. Thomas will be laid to rest with his mother, father, and sister in Norfolk, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to The Joshua House or Lifepath Hospice. Services are private.
