Thomas Earl Fagg Sr., 74, of Riverview, Florida, was called home to rest in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior on May 9, 2026.
Thomas “Earl” was born in Brandon, Florida, on May 16, 1951, to Thomas Fagg and Dorothy Jean Fagg (Lane) and was a lifelong resident of the area.
Thomas “Earl” was a selfless and loving man who cared deeply for his family and friends. Most of all, he enjoyed spending quality time with his children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter. He looked forward to meeting his great-grandson, who is due in October. In his spare time, he enjoyed shooting pool and making new friends—he never met a stranger. He loved family dinners, gatherings, and creating new memories.
He graduated from Brandon High School in 1969 and went on to drive trucks over the road for many years. He also worked tirelessly as a shop foreman at Tampa Tank and Welding until the age of 43, when a tragic work-related accident changed the course of his life.
Thomas “Earl” is survived by his children, Thomas Fagg Jr. (Andrea) of Germany and Tabitha Skeens (Robert) of Plant City; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Debra Ware (David) and Sandra Lopez (Joel); brothers, Donald Fagg and Arnold Fagg (Karen); and many other loving family members.
Thomas “Earl” was preceded in death by his son, Donald Fagg; his father, Thomas Fagg; his mother, Dorothy Fagg Lane; his stepfather, Jerry R. Lane; and his grandparents, Walter and Mamie Horne.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 30, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Bloomingdale. A graveside service will follow at 12:00 p.m. next door at Bloomingdale Cemetery.
