YOSHIKAWA, Tetsuo "Ted"
OSHIKAWA, Tetsuo "Ted," 70, of Brandon, Fla., went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ Thursday, June 7, 2007. He was born in Lushun, China, to Japanese parents November 11, 1936. He returned to Fukuoka Japan in 1947, where he lived until he attended Hosei University in Tokyo. In 1963, he received a scholarship from the U.S. Air Force to pursue graduate studies at Howard University and George Washington University in Washington D.C. There he met and married Viveca Edenheim from Sweden in 1965, and went on to have three children, Miko, Makoto and Akiko. In 1972, the family moved to Brandon, Fla., where he lived out his days. He is survived by his wife, children and eight grandchildren. He enjoyed his grandchildren, pets, boating, fishing, gardening, music, automotive repair, electronics and ham radio. N4YT is now a silent key. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 11, 2007, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 402 E. Lumsden Rd., Brandon, Fla. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation, 12902 Magnolia Drive, UTC-FOUND, Tampa, FL 33612.
