Terry Leon Parker, 69, of Gibsonton, FL, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. A native of Jacksonville, FL, he had resided in the Tampa Bay area for most of his life. He was in the U.S. Marine Corps and not only a member at First Baptist Church of Gibsonton but also the groundskeeper for the church. Terry was a huge motorcycle enthusiast, he loved riding his Harley and many other motorcycles. He also loved playing the guitar. Terry was preceded in death by his father, C.L. Parker; mother, Emma Wilson; brother, Milton Parker and sister, Patrcia Owens. He is survived by his companion, Doris Holmes; son, Harvey (Jennifer) Parker; daughter, Beth (Joel Hope) Parker; brother, Robert (Gail) Parker; sister, Elizabeth (Allan Collins) Conley; two grandchildren, Eli Munoz and Reagan Parker and numerous nieces and nephews. Terry loved his family dearly. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Gibsonton on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at noon. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the church.
