Shirley A. Grant, 79, of Riverview, passed away unexpectedly on Oct 27, 2022, at St. Joseph Hospital South. Shirley was born in Chattanooga, TN, on June 14, 1943, and married the love of her life, Bob Grant, in 1964. Shirley is survived by her two children, Barry Grant (Bobbi) of Tampa, Jill Morris of Valrico; niece, Sara Cash, and great niece, Farah; two granddaughters, Nichole Carr and Natasha Boggs (Tom); and four great-grandchildren. Family and friends were the two most important things in Shirley's life. There was not a single person that was not welcome in her home and as soon as you came in, she had to feed you! That was her love language! Shirley loved her four cats and giving to others even if that meant she would do without. In her spare time, Shirley would "piddle around" in the yard. She lived life to the fullest and was always up for an adventure, especially time at the beach with friends and family. She gave the best hugs ever and her laugh was infectious. To say that Shirley will be deeply missed is a HUGE understatement, but her memories will forever fill our hearts! There will be a Potluck Celebration of Life at her home in Riverview, on Nov 26, 2022, from 11am – 1pm, where we will share funny stories and loving memories. Please bring photos to share. Shirley will be laid to rest with her husband Bob at Bushnell Florida National Cemetery at a future time.
