ROMANO, Salvatore "Sal", 85, of Brandon, Passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2007, in Brandon. A native of Manhattan, N.Y., he had resided here since 1989 coming from Staten Island, N.Y. He was owner/operator of Romano and Son Trucking. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth "Betty" Cocchiola, Brandon; Sister, Ann Scaturro, Long Island, N.Y.; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, West Babylon, N.Y. with interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Shriner's Children's Hospital.
