Roy C. Holloway, 88, of Plant City, FL, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024. A native of Moultrie, GA, he had resided in the Tampa Bay area since 1959 coming from Brunswick, ME. Roy was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of Bloomingdale Baptist Church. He was known for being a hard worker especially when it came to working in the yard and he also loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emily C. Holloway and daughter, Cathy Nelson. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Royer (Barry) and Deborah Summerall (Troy); brother, Calvin Holloway; sister, Mary Phillips; six grandchildren, Chairty, Richard, Barry, Jr., Jason, Faith, and Zachary; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service for Roy will be held at Southern Funeral Care on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at 11 AM with family receiving friends one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
