Obituary for Ronald Robert Geiger
Ronald “Ron” Geiger passed way too soon at the age of 64, on July 19th, 2022. Born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to his parents Robert and Johanna Geiger on July 27th, 1957. Ron spent his early adulthood in Dale City Virginia, before finally settling in Brandon, Florida in 1986. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Geiger and his 3 children, Jessica Leverett, Jonathan Geiger, and Jacob Geiger. He was a proud grandfather to his only grandson, Kolten Leverett. He has two brothers, John Geiger and Danny Geiger and a sister Susan Pennington, who unfortunately is no longer with us. He is also leaving behind his longtime family friend and business partner, Laura Egg. Ron loved his family fiercely, but if you knew him, you also knew he was an avid sports fan! He loved his local Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Rays, and Lightning teams! As heartbroken as we are over his sudden passing,we know he is watching over us and loving us from a far. This isn’t goodbye, but see you later. A Celebration of life gathering will be held at the Water Hole Sports Bar, 3503 Bell Shoals Rd, Valrico FL 33596.
