He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Medford, MA and a US Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Janet; sons, Ronald J. Flynn, Jr.; daughters, Deanne Waite, Michelle Gilliam, Christine Hines and Patricia Leonard; brother, Larry Flynn; sister, Diane Cummings; 14 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
