Roger "Cindi" Cadet-Washington, 55, of Riverview, Florida, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Born on June 24, 1971, at Nyack Hospital in Rockland County, New York, Cindi was the beloved daughter of Roger Cadet and Gertha Felicite Cadet. She attended St. Peter's Elementary School, graduated from North Rockland High School, and continued her education at Rockland Community College.
Driven by ambition and a passion for helping others, Cindi built a successful career in finance, real estate, and retirement planning, earning professional licenses in each field. She was admired for her integrity, dedication, and genuine desire to help others achieve financial security.
On July 2, 2005, she married the love of her life, Jonathan Terrell Washington. Their union was blessed with their treasured daughter, Caitlynn Felicite Washington, born on August 20, 2006. Being a devoted wife and loving mother brought Cindi her greatest joy.
Cindi lived a life filled with love, laughter, faith, and purpose. She was known for her vibrant, bubbly personality, radiant smile, and contagious laughter. She never met a stranger, and her warm spirit had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and valued.
A gifted dancer and dance instructor, Cindi brought joy and energy wherever she went. More than anything, she was an encourager. She had a remarkable gift for uplifting others with words of hope, kindness, and wisdom. Whether family, friend, coworker, or someone she had just met, Cindi made people feel seen, loved, and inspired.
She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Roger Cadet.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her loving mother, Gertha Felicite Cadet; her devoted husband, Jonathan Terrell Washington; her cherished daughter, Caitlynn Felicite Washington; her loving siblings, Rodianne, Radine, Ralph, Regine, Roger Jr., Rothchyld, and Romane; along with a host of beloved nieces, nephews, goddaughters, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by her love.
Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we rejoice in knowing that Cindi's legacy of love, kindness, generosity, and unwavering encouragement will continue to live on through everyone blessed to know her. While she may no longer walk beside us, her light will forever shine within us.
