Robert Talley Moss, 79, of Riverview, FL, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. A native of Birmingham, AL, he had resided here since 1980. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church; former Pastor of Monte-Sil Baptist Church, Alabaster, AL; ran his parents grocery store, Moss Food Center and worked in the food industry most of his lifetime. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather. He was compassionate and a servant of the Lord and loved golf and an Alabama fan. He never met a stranger and loved his church and church family. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; sons, Robert, Jr., Tyler, Dereke and Jarrod Moss; daughters, Karen Moss and Genie Moss Eudy; brothers, John and Billy Moss; 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Providence Baptist Church, Riverview, with the family receiving friends one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Providence Baptist Church Building Fund.
