Robert Rawson Woideck, 80, of Valrico, FL, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024. A native of Cleveland, OH, he had resided in the Tampa Bay area since 2016 moving from the Washington, D.C. area after his wife’s retirement.
Robert was happily married to his wife Helen for 25 years. He had a passion and gift for art, he would find comfort working in his studio creating works in oil, watercolor, pen and ink and doing giclées of his best pieces. He also loved to go sailing on the Chesapeake Bay.
He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Woideck; son, Just Aaron Woideck; daughter, Erica Ann Woideck; cousins, George Woideck, Carl Woideck, Anne Averill, Kristin Sullivan and Francie Miller and his niece, Holly Rucker.
A graveside service for Robert will be held at Bloomingdale Community Cemetery, 3301 Bloomingdale Avenue Valrico, FL, on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 11 AM. A luncheon will follow at Stonewood Grill and Tavern, 612 East Bloomindale Avenue, Brandon, FL 33511.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to either Arts4All Florida or the Wounded Warrior Project.
